Member Profile: Barb Helling
When asked what she finds most interesting and challenging about the technical communication profession, she replies, "This is a great time to be involved in technical communication because it touches many disciplines and continues to evolve as technology advances."
Barb's positions at HP ranged from administrative assistant to database specialist to documentation project manager. She has B.A. in English and secondary education from NNU. This past spring, she received an M.S. in instructional and performance technology from BSU.
Barb enjoys reading, traveling, gardening, and attending her two sons' high school and sports events (band, lacrosse, and golf). She has volunteered to be the chapter's competition manager for the upcoming year, so be sure to say hello when you see her at our upcoming meetings.
