Member Profile: Teresa Cartwright
Teresa currently works at Micron as a technical writer. Prior to moving to Boise, she worked at a small wireless company as Webmaster and marketing coordinator. She also worked as a usability specialist for a short period of time here in Boise. She has a B.S. in Technical Communication from the University of Washington.
When asked what she finds most interesting and challenging about the technical communication profession, she replies, "The technical communication profession is interesting to me because I am able to help others understand and use new and exciting technologies, and in the process, I am able to learn these new technologies myself. It also makes me feel good about my work when I know that my procedure or web site, etc., may be helping someone else to do their job more efficiently. Learning a brand new subject-matter in a fast-paced environment is always challenging, but rewarding."
Teresa's hobbies include singing in choir, traveling, and photography. If you see her, be sure to ask her about the fun times she had in the fast-food industry as a maker of milkshakes.
