From the President: Holiday Party

Last month, the meeting topic was networking, and Rob Johnson did an excellent job of providing us with some networking tips. The best part was the chocolate reward for answering questions.

This month, you get an opportunity to practice these skills at our annual chapter holiday party.

The party is scheduled for 7pm on Saturday, December 10th at my house (2112 N. 28th St in Boise). The chapter will provide non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. (If you would like a more spirited beverage, please feel free to bring it). We will also do a white elephant gift exchange. (For those of you not familiar with this practice, wrap and bring something useless, wacky, or silly. For example, one year I was able to get rid of—errr gift—a singing cat wreath…)

I encourage everyone to come, even if you are new and don't know very many people. This is a low-key, fun way to get to know other chapter members. We had a great time last year. I look forward to seeing you all there!

Happy Holidays however you choose to celebrate them!
